Glasgow Civic Center
The Glasgow Civic Center was constructed as part of the larger effort to create community institutions in the face of the often overwhelming sense of change and despair during the Great Depression across the region. The Civic Center still serves as a town anchor, an important part of Glasgow’s public landscape.
This beautiful facility has hosted numerous camps, clinics and competitions over the past few decades. The Civic Center is host to a two week clinic every summer as part of the City Recreation Department summer classes. It also was home to the Mike Krause "Bring it" clinic in the winter of 2019.
The Civic Center was also the host facility for (4) Civic Center SLAM events during the 2021 competition season. It played in integral role in allowing much of Eastern Montana to meet the challenges to a COVID compressed schedule.
